His name was John Olmstead Born about 1826 in new york, he married a Marilla unknown and they adopted a daughter, Charlotte, she was born 11/01/1870 in Ionia county. They were living in Ronald township in the 1870 and 1880 census. Charlotte also known as lottie married alexander chapman.
