His children (all born in Eastbourne) were: Jane, George, Harry, Charlotte, Annie, Isabel, Ernest (my grandfather) and Emma. My grandfather immigrated to South Africa before 1891. Would your book by chance have anyone resembling those facts? I lost James, his wife Sarah, and two of their children after the Civil War. The 1850 census for Morgan Co. had a John Stevens also born in KY who could possibly be the Father of James. Stevens buried in the Three Springs cemetery, Huntingdon Co., PA? According to the cemetery transcription, she is buried in the same plot as Asa and Sarah Stevens and the headstone is marked Hannah J (d/o A. & S. Stevens) d. 1-6-1862 age 4 years. The logical assumption here is that "A. & S." is Asa and Sarah but this child does not appear with the family in the 1860 census leading me to think that the transcription is wrong. Anyone have additional information on this Hannah J. Stevens? Thanks, Tim
