    1. Search for Stevens kin
    2. Hi Listers, I am posting this message to these four lists, in hopes of making a connection with members of my family. For those of you who subscribe to more than one of these lists, I ask your patience and understanding. I am seeking information regarding two separate families who share the surname of STEVENS. 1.) I am trying to locate the family of Jeffries Rhett STEVENS, first cousin to my mother, Patricia Clark (PEARSON) KELLY. Jeffries and his wife Adalyn Scott DANIELS, known as 'Scottie,' moved from Wellsley, MA to Atkinson, NH in 1980. Following Jeffries' death in 1983, Scottie remained in Atkinson, selling the property in 1989. Jeffries was the son of Frank(lin) Farrington STEVENS (b. in MA) and Margaret D. PEARSON (b. in Omaha, NB). Scottie was from Natick, MA. She and Jeffries had two (possibly three) children. I do not know their given names. Friends of Margaret have told me they think her grandchildren are Parke Jeffries, Korin, and John STEVENS. It is also possible that they could be the children of Jeffries' older brother, Frank(lin) Farrington STEVENS, Jr. If anyone knows of these people and can help me locate them, please e-mail me at [email protected] 2.) Eleanor STEVENS (my 5th great-grandmother) remains a mystery. I have been trying to determine her ancestry for quite some time, to no avail. I did receive a 'lead' once that looked promising, but it turned out the dates didn't match. So I am back to square one! Here is what I already know about Eleanor: Eleanor STEVENS (b. 1725 in Salisbury, MA; d. 1/29/1770, possibly in Salisbury, MA) m. 1/1/1747 Col. Samuel PAIGE/PAGE (b. 7/24/1722, Salisbury, MA; d. 9/1/1800, Weare, NH). They lived in Salisbury, MA; South Hampton, NH; and Weare, NH. They had 7 children; the first, Samuel, Jr. (my 4th great-grandfather), was born in Salisbury. The others were all born in South Hampton, NH. What were their names? Who did they marry? Who were Eleanor STEVEN's parents? I would be immensely grateful if someone out there with access to the Essex County Vital Records CD would be willing to take a peek and see if they could solve this mystery for me! I will keep my fingers crossed (and say a prayer) that someone will be able to help me with my search. I thank you, in advance, for your time and effort. Sincerely, Pamela Rhett Molzan Charleston, SC [email protected]
