I would really like to find some descendants to correspond with. 1.] Rebecca STEPHENS b. abt. 1828 AL. md. James HOWELL in MS. In Rankin Co., MS. In 1850 2.] Mary STEVENS b. abt. 1832 AL. md: George JONES 22 Feb 1856 Rankin Co., MS. Children: Cato, Anna, Caleb, Amanda, Lenore (Nora), Elzer, Thomas, & Henrietta. At some point they were in Arkansas. In 1860 were at Morehouse Par., LA., and settled in Union Par., LA. 3.] Parlina/Paulina STEVENS b.abt.1836 AL. had not married in Union Par., LA. By 1870. Cannot find on 1880 census 4.] James Wesley STEPHENS b. abt.1837 md. Mary E. LUNSFORD in LA. Before 1866. Children are: Dicie, John, Susan, Mary Frances. In 1880 they are in Anderson Co., Texas. Have not been able to find on 1870 census. 5.] Susan STEVENS b. Oct. 1838 md: 1) _____WATSON probably in MS. This family was also in Arkansas at some point. 2) J.A. JONES in LA. 3.) A.Jackson GERMAN. Children: Marion Watson 1854, Ruth Jane Watson 1864, Wm. Jackson Watson 1867 LA. In 1900 she is listed in Henderson Co., Texas. Ruth Jane Watson md: a W.J. McCALL. 6.]John STEPHENS b. 1840 AL. 7.] Frances STEPHENS b. 1842 AL. md: James H. JOHNSON of Ashley Co., Ark. As far as I know they stayed in Arkansas. Frances was his 2nd. Wife. 8. Jesse STEPHENS b. 1844 AL. md:Mary F.______ children are: William , Henry, Jesse. Was in 1870 Desoto Par., LA. 9.Joshua STEPHENS b. 1848 MS. Md: Georgia ________ children are: Thomas J. and Ella B. 1870-1880-1900 Union Co., LA. 10.] Cordelia STEPHENS b. 1849 MS. Md. : James Johnson? Ashley Co., AR. 11.]Narcissus STEPHENS b. 1852 MS.
