Pat; I have not ran across a Garrett/Jarrot. It looks like Levi Stephens b about 1810 came to Missouri after 1844 and before 1849. His children were Frances b 1835 NC, Henry Ivera b 1836 NC, David b 1839 NC, Martha R. b 1841 NC, Melissa J. b 1844 NC and Mary C. b 1849 MO.
