All I have on the Stephens is - 1860 Census, A.J.Stephens, 27, NC, Jane, 27 TN, Margaret, 5 Tn. Sevier Co Tn. 1870. Found Jane living with a Polly Kelly age 75 Tn, Jane 37 Tn, Lincoln 7 TN and Msriah ? age 2 Tn and no A.J. He could have died. By 1880. Jane is 47, Lincoln 16 and Sarah 13 ? , no Polly or A.J. 1900 Jane is living with her son Lincoln and family. Can anyone shine some light on this A.J. Stephens. I have some ideas of who his father might be but not Jane's parents. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Krys
Polly Kelly could easily be Jane's mother. See if you can find Polly and husband in the 1860 and 1850 TN census. S.
