Stella (Estella?) Stephens, born ca 1901 in GA married John Lucius Brown, (b. 6/30/1896 in AL) abt. 1919 and lived in Cullman,Cullman, AL. Children: Vera Brown , b.ca 1922 in Cullman.Al. John J. Brown b. ca 1924 in Cullman, AL Mary Jewell Brown, b.2/2/1927 in Cullman, AL Vera Brown married Orgal Cozort, b. 4/11/1913 in AR, s/o Oscar Cozort and Audia Cozort. Mary Jewell Brown married Orgal’s brother, Remmel Race Cozort, (b. ca 1927 in AR) in about 1944. More Cozort history is known and can be shared. I need help tracing the ancestry the parentage of Stella Stephens Brown. Her father was born in Ga, and mother in AL. Family lore says that one of Stella’s grand-or greatgrand parents was a native American. Family would like help in tracing this back!! If Larry C. should see this I would appreciate a response.
