    3. Hi Phil, No I am not being quick to discount, but in all my research of my family here in Cornwall, UK they are all spelt Stephens. It only changes back at about 1415 when a local Vicar/Priest was called STEPHEN and he was related.. So I guess I am lucky, so far.
