Harold==Toaccess the Stephens archives,,do the following procedure: In your search engine box,type in; STEPHENS-L archives , then click search Several options are available, and I think option # 2 will get you the "Rootsweb Stephens archives"" , then click on that. Thhe archives are messageostings and inquiries, grouped in chronological order by the year,by month. I have found them to be quite useful in turning up leads when I see a name or names that might possibly ring a bell with someone.. In Georgia,many counties have rgional and county coordinators that have done exstensive work in listing marriages,will,cemetery listings,old newpaper clippings,etc. This date is posted in the archives as well. As I said,I have gleaned a lot of information which has enabled me to start almost from ground zero.
