Seeking ancestry of JULIA STEPHENS/STEVENS born about 1799. Place of birth unknown. One census says she was born Rensselaer Co, NY - it has been crossed out and PA written in place of it. She married about 1821, presumably in town of Caneada, Allegany Co, NY as his second wife, William LEWIS. She died about 1873 and buried Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Houghton, Allegany Co, NY.
