STEVENS in Co I, 2nd Regiment, Arkansas Infantry. John C. STEVENS died in 1862 at West Point, Georgia. James W. STEVENS moved to Anderson Co., T. in 1869, from Union Parish, LA. Their children were: Dicie J., John, Susan E., Lizzie S., Mary Frances (marr: a Ratterbee), Seleta Ann (marr: Chalmers F. JONES), William F. STEVENS 2...Sister of James W. STEVENS, Susan E.(STEVENS)WATSON, JONES, GERMAN Susan was b. 1837 in Alabama. Susan moved to Anderson County sometime between 1876-1879, with her second husband, J.A. JONES. By her first marriage these children were born: James WADKINS/WATSON, Marion, Marie, Ruth Jane, Wm. Jackson. By 2nd marriage: Robert JONES, Sarah Emma (marr: R.B. McCOOL) In 1880 Susan in Anderson County Texas and in Henderson County in 1900. She is buried in Anderson County. Most of her children did live in Henderson County but are buried in Anderson County. 3...Parlina/Paulina STEVENS ....never married.
