I am still looking for the father and mother of Inman and Susannah Stephens, my GG grandparents. Inman and Susannag are listed on the 1850 Upson County,ga. census, along with their children, and Priscilla, shown as age 75. Piscilla is shown as a recipient on three Ga land lotteries: 1821 Jones County,with children shown as orphans. 1827 drew land in Coweta County(husband abs) ,LL 242,sec 5 1835 drewland in Upson as a widow,District 14,Sec l. Priscilla must have been an eligible widow in all three lotteries,probably as a widow of a Rev War Vet. Question: Is there any mention in the above land lotteries,or deeds, that she was a widow of a specific Stephens vet? Would appreeciate any look ups that anyone could do to locate my GGG grandfather.
