I should mention too since I forgot it , that the John Richard Stephens family I was referring to moved to Mississippi from Laurens Co., SC. Other clues I didn't notice at time ; In household ( 1850 ) of the Robert F. Stephens 30 AL. marr: Angeline is Catharine age 60 NC? ( I wondert if this isn't Mary Catharine Ware Stephens but on rootsweb and query boards, her DOB is given as 1820 .) In Jarrett Stephens household of 1850 is a Jane Stephens age 75 <1775>born in VA.
