My Stephens line is as follows. I am interested in Fielding's parents and whether or not Aditha P. Stephens was related to her husband, James H. Stephens. The 1860 census has Aditha's father, John, as saying he was born in South Caroline. Fielding Stephens always stated on census records that he was born in North Carolina but I have seen one posting that said Fielding and John were brothers but I could never get the poster to respond to my questions about that connection.
