We believe my husband is descended from Nicholas Stephens/Stevens, supposedly the immigrant of his line, who came to CT from England about 1660, through son Henry, then son Richard, son John, son Joseph. I am not positive, however, of this descent, but am comfortable with it from there on - Joseph/Josiah Stephens, born about 1773 in NC, d. 1847 Jackson Co., AL, son Daniel, son Josiah (moved to Itawamba Co., MS), son James Solomon, son Earnest, son Dave.
