Frank, I too am searching for more information on this family, since Frank's brother James Harrison was my great grandfather!! I have found them in the 1880 U. S. Census--Kentucky--Laurel County--District 58--#258, he is listed as Franklin. All information that I have been able to find shows the mother's name as Elizabeth. I have never found Keelan. I have only found her in 2 census.the 1880 and then in 1920 U. S. Census--Kentucky--Rockcastle County--All Townships--District 248--#277, living with her son James Harrison Stevens. I have Richard listed in 3.1880, 1900 U. S. Census--Kentucky--Rockcastle County--District 71--#213, living with his son Thomas Stephens & 1910 U. S. Census--Kentucky--Rockcastle County--All Townships--District 103--#10, living with his son Thomas Stephens. I can't figure out where Elizabeth is at during this time period..my sister has went through every page of Pulaski, Laurel and Rockcastle counties census records and can't locate her!! Hello, I'm deseperately trying to find the descendants of a Dr. Doras Lee Stephens. He was born in 1865, and I would say in Alabama. He married a Erma Elizabeth Hyder in 1898. The lived in Anson Texas, which is in Jones Co. Texas. I know he was in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census for Jones Co. Texas. He had two children: 1. Elva Mae Stephens, born 1900, and she married a E.T. Pittard 2. Charles Stephens, b. 1901, and he married a Amy Littlefield I believe the Charles Stephens, may have died sometime, in the 1960's. I believe he had two daughters, a Patricia Louise Stephens, and an Elizabeth Sue Stephens. The Dr. Stephens, descends from Solomon Stephens, and his wife, Sarah Barrow or Barron, from Randolph Co. Would like to find out about the Dew STEPHENS family on the Ashley County 1860 census . So far all I have is Dew Stephens was born Bet. 1802-07 GA. Or SC ( I think SC ). He married Jane HARDY in 1828 Montgomery Co., Alabama. She was born 1814 SC and died bet. 1850-1860 in Mississippi or Arkansas. Dew Stephens and Jane Hardy's children are : Mary , Paulina, James, Susan, John, Jesse, Duncan(Duey), Frances, Cordelia(Delia), Narciscus and Joshua. I 'm fairly certain that Duncan(Duey) is same as Duncan Stephens who married Melissa Garner in Union Co., Ark. In 1865. I would like to find out about the rest of this family. My brickwall Stephens belong to the Benjamin W. Stephens family that were in AL and may have been from VA.
