PADFIELD family of England _______________________ -- Sarah PADFIELD was the daughter of Jonas and Elizabeth PADFIELD. Nothing further known on her parents. -- Sarah was born 02 May 1736 in Aswick, Somerset, England and married 07 May 1765 in Embrough, Somerset to Austin CLAVEY. -- Austin CLAVEY was born 30 June 1722 in Stokelane, Somerset, a son of William CLAVEY and Mary LOVELL. He and Sarah had a son, Phillip born 18 May 1776 in Ashwick. -- Phillip married Mary STEPHENS 28 Oct 1793 in Chewton. Mary was born 29 Nov 1771 in Ashbrittle, a daughter of Thomas Tymewell STEPHENS. Phillip and Mary died in Chewton in the 1850's. He and Mary had a daughter, Matilda, born 12 May 1807 in Chewton. -- Matilda CLAVEY married George GRACE 03 Nov 1839 in Bedminster. George was born 1809 Somerset and died 1857 in Wales. Matilda died in 1884 Thornaby. Their son, William F. GRACE married Elizabeth Ann PERRETT in Briton Ferry, Glammorgan, Wales. -- In the 1870's William F. GRACE, his wife Elizabeth Ann PERRETT and their children, immigrated to America where they settled in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. Anything of interest?
