Perhaps there is a relationship to my ancestor. There is a record of a Franz Anton STEFAN who emigrated from her same home in 1879. My great grandmother Marie or Maria Anna STEPHAN is registered in records of the Generallandesarchiv Karlsruhe (GLA) as emigrating in 1872 from her home Königheim near Tauberbischofsheim, Baden.
