Adolph was born in 1877 in Germany and came to the United States in 1892 aboard the ship Illinois which docked in Philadelphia. It says he was going to Cleveland to 399 Ontario St. It looks like it might say he was going to live with an uncle. I have him in the census from 1910 on but can't find 1900.
