Fellow Seekers, I seek information about Samuel Steel(e), one of the many Samuels. "My" Samuel was born 1767, probably in Pennsylvania. He married a woman named Nancy, last name unknown. Nancy was born 1765, also probably in Pennsylvannia. They had a number of children: Christopher, b. 1792 in PA, married Catherine (last name unknown), and died March 23, 1872; John, b. 1796 in PA, married Mary (last name unknown), died also (?) March 23, 1872; Adam, b. 1801 in PA, married Dolla (last name unknown; an unnamed daughter b. 1801 to 1810 in PA; a son Henry, b. 1800 to 1810 in PA. They "probably" had other children. It appears they moved from PA to Malaga Township, Monroe County, Ohio between 1810 and 1830. Samuel and Nancy are believed to have died 1850 to 1860 in Ohio. I am of the line of their son John. John moved to Tazewell County, Illinois. I am looking for any information you may have about Samuel or Nancy. Secondary search is for info about Christopher, Adam, Henry, the unnamed daughter, and any other of their children. I have good info about John if you need that. I am particularly interested in Samuel's parents, possibly another Samuel Steel(e) of PA. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.
