I have never run into this connection before. I am wondering where you got the book and if there are other copies in print. Also, were you successful in establishing a connection? I have been trying to do the same. I thought some info I rec'd from the Daughters of American Revolution that if you had someone who fought in the war OR helped establish colonies it would qualify for DAR membership (and access to their records). However someone else told me that the ancestor actually had to fight in the war. Do you know?
