Ireland & Scotland. I have lots of information from 1850 to present, but only scant pieces from 1760 to 1850. The Samuel Steel families were the postmasters from early 1800's to early 1900's. They owned a building along with the bank building on Bridge St. Bushmills N. Ireland. The shop was on a corner street and is still known as Steel's corner. The shop is now a Hair Solon. In addition they had a millenary shop, mercantile and drapery business. I'm looking for the Lamberts (Trevor Allen L., Garvin Richard L. and Kathleen Gillian L.) last known address 61 Church St. Wool, Warham Dorset, England. They are the Great-grand children of Dr. Richard F. Steel who was a Dr. in India from 1900 to 1930. Also relatives or friends of Dr. James Alexander Steel of Castlerock & Articlave N. Ireland. Known relative Names are Kidd (Dr. George Kidd of Colerain), Wolf (Lawyers in Belfast), Wilson (James Minister), Love (builder of Dundraven), Moore, Steele (of Scotland and Canada), MacPherarson (Admiral in Navy), Black, Adams, Maxwell, Begain's or Beaghen and Eleanor Freyer or Fryer (sister Sara). The Scottish connection is in and around Paisley S. and the time of Queen Victoria marriage and before. Religion is Presbyterian with many strong ties to the church. Any one with Information or possible relation please respond.
