Hi I can't answer your? But just wanted to let you know that George Steele is also my husbands family and so thru marriage is mine. We are thru Seldens brother William. I haven't been able to go any further back than George and Tamsen Steele in Clayton, NY but I have a lot of info from him down to our children. I would be very interested in hearing from you and exchanging any info that we don't have ourselves. There are quite a few trying to trace this back also and so far we are stuck on George.
