I believe I have found the family of Levi Bozarth and Susan R. (Strong) Steele from DeKalb County, Tennessee. In 1860, they're in Christian County, Kentucky as follows, page 513: Steele, L. B. age 29 S. R. age 23 G. M. 3 (m) C. E. 1/2 (f) J. L. 15 (m) M. E. 15 (f) A. J. 7 (m) In 1870, I find them in Trigg County, KY near Rockcastle, page 152 Steel, Levi B. 38 Susan 36 Andrew 16 George 10 Ch..[illegible] (f) 10 Harriett 7 Julia 4 Mary 2 Ida 2/12 In 1880, they apparently moved to the Flannigan area of Hamilton County, Illinois, and Levi apparently died earlier that same year: 92-92 Susan Steele 42 Tn Tn Tn George M. 22 Julia 15 May 12 Canary 19, ky tn tn - most likely the Ch...I couldn't read, age 10, in 1870. 93-93 John L. Steele (don't know where he was in 1870!) age 36 Jennette age 23 George L 10 Flavillon E. 7 Levi E. 3 Victoria 1 If anyone has marriage records for Hamilton County, Illinois I'd greatly appreciate a lookup for these kids, and hopefully some cemetery info. I believe Levi's father, Nathaniel G. Steele was most likely a son of Andrew Steele (c.1743 - c. 1825 White Co. TN) by a possible second wife, whom I believe was the Dorcus Steele in DeKalb County TN census records. I do NOT know where Nathaniel G. Steele and wife Elizabeth Bozarth Steele went after the 1850 Sumner County, TN census. I cannot find them anywhere! Elizabeth was the daughter of Levil Bozarth and wife Sarah Pierce, who were married 1802 in Kentucky.
