Cir 1847 m John D'ACRE b. Cir 1762 d. 20 April 1815. John was a son of William D'ACRE d. abt 1762 m. Alice. William was said to be a French refugee who introduced the Silk Spinning Industry to Mountrath, Queens County Ireland. Margaret was said to come from the STEELE family of Kyle, County Wexford. Her brother Richard was a Planter in the West Indies and a Member of the Legislative Council of the Ireland of Grenada.
