I have been in touch with many Steele family members in the North Florida area and have a book from them, but it is very limited info on my Robert Steele. I was told that some of his descendants moved to another area. I haven't been able to research it though due to a degenerative illness. Did the book have a picture in it of Robert Steele?! I am like you I am searching for pictures. I would be so very happy to find one of Robert. I have one of his daughter, my great grandmother Martha (Aunt Monkey). Is there anyone on the list with books related to STEELE's that is willing to do look-ups? I am lost as how to find my Viola STEELE most likely born about 1859 in PA.
