They had 10 children all born in VA. He was born 5/21/1854 & died 9/12/1991, M: 9/25/1875 to Sarah Jennetta Carper, born 4/7/1875. Mary, Henry, James, Ida Letha Lake [my grandmother] b;1/6/1885,Walter, Roxie, Dock, Edgar,Floyd, Nettie. Ida married Charles Henderson Dills and lived in Tazewell Co, VA until moving to Dayton, OHio in 1924.I am interested to find any Steele ancestors of Samuel David Steele and Sarah J. Carper Steele.
