Initially,William Steele left England 1870 & landed in New York and after wandering around in NY state he finally moved to eastern Ohio.He moved to Lisbon and sent mail to his wife & she boarded a ship from England to the US.William met her in NY and went to Ohio.They hadn't seen each other in almost 2 years. Later they sent letters to her father to come to the US. Other family names that are related to me is Tritt,Boswell,Ell,Dumbleton,Steel.
