Can you please check to see if you have any record of her in your book, Steele - A Gathering of the Clan? Viola STEELE married 04 Jan 1883 (in Kahoka, Clark Co., MO) to Orten G. RICHARDSON b abt. 1860 in MO or KY. I believe Viola's parents, names unknown, came from MD based on the 1900 US Federal Census in Cherryvale, Montgomery Co., KS. Viola and Orten G.'s first child was Laura May RICHARDSON. Laura May RICHARDSON was b 17 Jun 1884 Jefferson Township, Clark Co., MO. She died 29 Mar 1840 in the City & County Hospital in Fort Worth Texas, Tarrant Co., TX. Laura May was my grandmother that I never knew. Their second child was Egbert "Bert" RICHARDSON b Nov 1886 in MO or IN. Viola and O.G.'s third child was Lorene "Lottie" RICHARDSON b 1889 MO. And, their fourth child was Mattie RICHARDSON b Jan 1891 in MO. Any info about this family would be greatly appreciated. Orten G. RICHARDSON and Viola STEELE were my great grandparents. Tamara G. I did find a Susan Viola Steele bd 11 Apr 1880 Sullivan, Missouri dd 7 Jul 1908 Sullivan MO. and Viola P Cave bd 3 NOV 186 who married Samuel Ferguson Steele bd 27 DEC 1849 Springfield,Greene,MO or 27 Dec 1846 dd 10 MAR 1940 Buckley, Pierce,Washington married 2 10 NOV 1885 Smith Center, Smith, Kansas Are either of these your Viola. was Samuel Ferguson Steele's 3rd wife.     3. Tamara, I have some Steeles from MD, but they are much earlier than you Viola.. They are related to the Bedford Co,PA Steeles. Do you know if they were German Baptist or not.?
