She was descended from the Captain Elmes Yelverton Steeles of Glouchestire, England. This part of the family settled in Ontario, and the a some came out west. Sgt. Major Samuel Benfield was her uncle.She is the only one that I can recall having it. For the most part, my ancestors lived well into their late seventies, eighties, and ninties..even Grandma lived well iinto her eighties.
