Hi - I finally got back a few more generations on my Steele line.. .wondering if anyone has these Steele's in their tree -- William Steele, b. about 1805 in England, married Elizabeth (last name unknown), b. about 1809 in France. They lived in Oneida County, New York. Their children were Joseph (b. 1835 in Floyd, NY, m. Jeanette Davis), John (b. abt 1841), James (b. abt 1843), Henry (b. 1849 in Whitesboro, NY, m. Della Steele), Frank (b 1849 in Trenton Falls, m. Anna Daly), Sarah (m. Charles Brown), and Mary (b 1844 in Whitesboro, m. Martin Gorton). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
