My Family Tree goes back to the mid 1700s in England. At that time my surname was spelled STEEL.I have two families dating from 1735 forward to 1853.The earlist my family became STEELE was 1801 when William STEELE of Banbury,Oxfordshire,ENG was born.He died Dec. 1882,Brentford, Middlesex,ENG. William's son, William STEELE b.10 Feb.1844,Peckham Rye,Surrey,ENG. & died in 23 Apr 1922 in Lisbon,Columbiana Co., Ohio.My grandfather & father were born in Lisbon.My grandfather Harry Squire STEELE b. 15 Jan 1886;d.21 Mar 1962.He died in Lisbon.My father, Harry Bruce STEELE, b.18 Aug. 1912; d.28 Dec. 1996 in San Diego,San Diego,CA.I was born in San Diego,CA. on 18 Sep.1942 in San Diego.I now live in the State of Washington. I am now 67 yrs old & my 2 sons are are still alive.My oldest lives in Florida & my youngest lives about 20 miles from me.I have info.on cousins & other related family! members.
