    3. Eli Lafever and wife Mary "Polly" Steele Lafever are related to me as well. Mary was the daughter of John Steele and first wife, Jane Compton. Eli's father was Andrew Lafever Sr. and Nancy Ard. I descend from Eli's brother, Andrew Lafever Jr. who married Celia Ann Steele, daughter of Alexander Steele and Lucy Compton.
