As you go down the tree at Ted's site you will run into Isaac Steele who fought in the Revolutionary War. If you would like to contact Ted, please leave him a message when you visit his site. Ted has a photo copy of Isaac's discharge paper from the war which will give you your direct tie and make you elgible to become a son or a daughter of the American Revolution. Depending on how you tie into the Steele line you may also be elgible to join the Plymoth Society. John Steele's grandson, Samuel Steele, married the granddaughter of William Bradford, the first Govenor of Plymouth. His granddaughter's name was Mercy Bradford.
