My great grandfather was Silas Wesley Steele born Novemeber 15, 1852 in Ohio; son of John Steele and Elizabeth Lair, originally from Virginia. I have been searching for Silas' extended family for the last 7 years. I do have info from the time of Silas' marriage to Susan Jeanette Edwards of Farmer City, Dewitt County, IL.
