What Steele's are you looking for out of Michigan? My Steele's came from New York, too, went to Ohio for a time and then on to Ionia County Michigan. Their names were Reuben and Esthere(Harrington) Steel. Their children were Ella, Hattie, Cora, Ida, Nina, Bruce and Charlie. They settled in Ionia Co. sometime between 1860 and 1870.
