Broughton (b. April 1847-1849 Knox KY - d. 1900? OH). Married (1) Mary Wilson (b. 1853-1855 OH) on 15 July 1869 in Lawrence Co., Ohio. They had at least eight children: 1. Hannah Geneva Broughton (b. 1870 OH). Married George M. Steele around 1890 and had eight children: a. Fannie Steele (b. 25 February 1892 OH). b. William H. Steele (b. 17 May 1893 OH). c. Bertha Steele (b. 6 March 1895 OH). d. Charles Steele (b. 11 November 1896 OH). e. Thomas Steele (b. 19 March 1900 OH). f. Carrie Steele (b. 24 July 1904 OH). g. Myrtle Steele (b. 30 April 1906 OH). h. Fred Steele (b. 17 January 1910 OH). 2. Margaret Broughton (b. 1872 OH). 3. William T. Broughton (b. 7 December 1873 OH). 4. Eva Jane Broughton (b. 26 January 1876 OH). Dropsy. Married John Walls (b. 1852 OH) around 1892 and had at least eight children: a. Homer Walls (b. 1893 OH). b. Mellie Walls (b. 1896 OH). c. Married Verna Belcher (d. 13 March 1912), daughter of Ava/Ara Belcher, and had: a. ____ Broughton (b. 24 October 1909 OH). b. Mary Broughton (b. 12 February 1912 OH). Kitts Hill Married Orville Colegrove (b. 4 October 1908 OH) on 1 June 1929 in Scioto Co., Ohio. He was the son of Dayton and Laura (Abbott) Colegrove of Pitchin, Ohio. 8. James Broughton (b. August 1888 OH). Henry T. married (2) Elizabeth “Lizzie” Spears (b. May 1877), daughter of James Spears, on 21 August 1892 in Lawrence Co., Ohio. Lizzie is listed twice on the 1900 census; once with her husband but not her two children and again with her father and one child but not her husband. Henry and Lizzie had two more children: 9. Frank Broughton (b. 2 September 1890 OH - d. 189_? OH). 10. Clyde Broughton (b. 1 June 1896 OH). Illegitimate??
