Hi, I have a John Steele (my gr gr grandfather) born May 16, 1843 in Ashe County, NC. His father was Thomas P. Steele born in 1818 in North Carolina. His father was John Steele born 1786 in North Carolina. My gr gr grandfather had a son named John Steele born September 22, 1871 in Russell County, VA. That is three John Steeles in less than 100 years.
