    3. I have a John (Jehu) Pyles Steele, born January 10, 1802 in North Carolina. His parents were Thomas Steele and Sarah Ann Pyles. John was married to Christina (or Christiana) Barger ca 1829 in Henderson County, TN. John and Christina moved from Tennessee to Mississippi and then to Arkansas, where John died in Ouachita County in 1850. Christina married Hiram Medlock after John's death and eventually settled in Nevada County, AR, where she died in 1877.
