    2. Two interesting things I've come across: 1.) I talked with a man who is a Steele, who said his family came from Sweden, and that his family name derived from "Rosensteel" (spelling uncertain). He said they had come from a town in Sweden where steel was processed. 2.) I am a Steel(e), but my half-brother (on my mother's side) is a Dwight. He claims that all Dwights are related, having come from Dedham, Massachusetts. I have always figured Dwight was a fairly common name, having heard it so often, but when it comes right down to it, I really don't come across it nearly as often as I expected I would!
