Janet Cron/e, born in Kirkpatrick Fleming Parish in Dumfriesshire, Scotland to Jeffray and Janet Cron/e in the late 1780's or early 1790's (no birth entry in the OPR) married John Steel, blacksmith. One of their children (Jeffery) born in Cumberland was christened in Janet's home parish in 1825. The rest of her family, which must have all been born in Cumberland, England, elude me. Do you know of this family? Janet was a sister of my gggrandfather. Willing to share info.
