    2. I have the will from Ninian Steele somewhere around this computer. When I find it, I will put it out there for those that are interested. Please keep in mind Ninian's wife was pregnant at the time of Ninian's death with a child. William was not the last child of this man. GENERATION I The Will of Samuel Steel, Immigrant In the name of God, Amen. The twenty third day of April, in the year of our Lord on thousand seven hundred & sixty, of Samuel Steel of Thunder Hill in the county of Chester & Providence of Pennsylvania, being sick in Body but of sound & disposing mend & Memory, due make & ordain this my last will & testament in the manner following, First, Imprimis I commend my soul to God who gave it, & my body to be decently interred, at the discretion of my Executor herein after named as to such Estate, Real & Personal as I shall due possess of, I devise & bequeath The same in manner following, item I order all my just debts to be first paid. Item I devise & bequeath, to my son Rob?t & to my Daughter, Ruth, & Jean, & my son Samuel the sum of seven Shillings & Sixpence to each of them, Item I devise & bequeath to my daughter, Frances, the sum of twenty pounds, to be hers at the end of tow years, after my decease, also a good Bed Tick, & bed cloaths, a chest & her spinning wheel. Item I devise & bequeath, to my son Joseph, the sum of ten pounds, to be paid him at the end of three years after my Decease, Item I devise & bequeath, to my son Joseph, the sum of ten pounds, to be paid him at the end of three years after my Decease, Item I devise & bequeath, to my son James, a horse worth ten pounds, & a saddle of forty shillings price, Item I devise & bequeath to my son Ninian, this sum of ten pounds, to be paid three years after my decease, Item I devise and bequeath, to my daughters, Ann & Elizabeth, the sum of ten pounds to each of them when the arrive at the age of twenty years. & if any of my children, now unmarried should die, before their money comes due, that then I will & order, Their parts to be Equally divided amongst the rest that are unmarried, & in case my real Estate must be sold, I will & order that the over plus money, be divided, in manner following, First, the fourth part to be Equal between my tow youngest Daughters, Ann & Elizabeth, & the remainder to be equally divided, between my son Samuel & my son James, but in case, they my son Saml & son James, can discharge all just demands, & keep the Plantation, I will and order, the land to be equally divided between, them, Each holding their respective dwellings, && in this case I further will & order, that my Dear Wife Ann, have Room she thinks proper, in my son James House with a reasonable maintenance, during her widowhood, Item I will & bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Ann, whom I constitute & ordain my only & sold Executor of this my last will & Testament, the Third of all my Estate, Real & Personal, and I utterly disavow, all & Every other former testaments, & Legacies, bequeaths & Executors by me before this time named, willed or bequeathed, Ratifying & Executors by me before this time named, willed or bequeathed, Ratifying & confirming This, & no other to be my last will & Testament.
