I did find this, which could be of help (F&C).. STEELE, Ninian, with his wife and children came from the north of Ireland, and settled in New London twp, in Chester co. HE died in Dec. 1745 leaving a widow, Mary and 6 children; Robert, Martha, Samuel, Susannah, Ninian and William. The decendants of Ninian Steele, the emigrant, are very numerous, and are scattered over the whole country. A branch, about the period of the revolution, went to NC and settled in the neighborhood of charlotte, where their descendants now reside (this book was written in 1889).... Sandra > My question is: does anyone have access to Chester Wills II, 193 or the Chester Tax list for 1737-1738. I am looking for possible connections to this Robert Steel. Any help appreciated greatly! ============================== > --------------8A7D0B22FD1A6090552CDAA9--
