Hi Tracy, I saw your email the other day referring to Steele's and Nova Scotia. My only connection is that my wife has an ancestor called William George who was born in 1847 joined the British Army and was posted to Nova Scotia. He married a local girl called Annie Steele in December 1863 in Halifax. They eventually having had several children moved back to England where she died in 1890. I have been unable to find out any details of Annie's family and wonder if you have come across them? Kind regards, Richard Stimpson. (England).
