In the 70's I spoke to my great-aunt Florence, and she told me about the family and mentioned her brother Clark (she called him Clarkie). Since then, other members of the family thought I made up that name because they never remembered hearing it. Did he move from Pa. at a young age? Florence's married name was Salmon, and she had a son named Pete who I believe lives in Florida now. I think he was interested in genealogy but I haven't been in touch with him. What I do know is that Florence and Milo lived most of their lives in New Castle, Pa. My grandfather Milo was born in Petersburg Ohio, and I don't know about the others. He was born 2-18-97. Does that year seem close to when Clark may have been born? Their parents were John B. Steele and Melissa Kariher. I think they were both buried in Petersburg Ohio. John's parents were David Steele and Elizabeth. David's mother was Alexandria. Melissa's parents were John and Minerva an! d both were buried near Petersburg and/or New Middletown, OH I hope this helps, and that your husband and I are really related.
