I'm indirectly related via Samuel, an older brother of John Steele Jr. Since we moved to CO in 2000 I have been to the cemetery in Red Mesa CO where some of your kin are buried; also Jackson Lake NM (outside of Farmington) is said to have been named for Susannah Jackson, John Jr's first wife.
