    3. Claudia, I have a John Steele, married to a Elizabeth Lair, both from Virginia but living in Ohio when my ggrandfather Silas Wesley Steele was born ca 1850. Any chance that we could be talking about the same family? Silas was married to a Susan Jeanette Edwards born in Marion Co, OH. daughter of Wellington Edwards and Sarah McFetters. I have looked for ages for some kind of connection. Am I still looking?
