Alicemae My William STEELE had 9 children, and the oldest son was "John" b. 1804. I'm pretty sure he was born in Virginia and I know he moved with his family to Gallia Co., Ohio. However, he married 22 Oct. 1834 to Rosannah HOPSON (b. 1814). It's possible he could have remarried later. Do you have any more dates or information?
