For more than a decade I have been trying to track a female Steele (b. abt 1818). I have hit brickwalls everywhere. Does anyone have information on MS Steeles in Natchez area? She may or may not be part of Archibald Steele's family...that's part of the dilemma. Minerva Steele b. abt 1818 in MS, married 1) Garrett Williamson in 1833 in Adams 2) Richard Grooms 1836 in Jefferson 3) Albert Morris about 1838 in New Orleans 4) Seth Stem in 1845 in New Orleans She died 1890 in New Orleans.
