I am working on my husband's line and need help to identify the parents of Sarah Steele, b. about 1734 in (?) Goochland, VA. She married Sampson Woodall in Goochland, VA on March 24, 1756. I have seen postings on other lists (but e-mail addresses are no longer current so I haven't been able to contact the person) that suggest that Sarah Steele's parents may be Samuel and Catherine (Sampson) Steele. Can any one confirm or deny this? This is of particular interest to me because I too am a Steele married to a Woodall. Vicki Steele-Woodall
